ISSUES
We all want good schools for our kids, quality health care when we get sick, good-paying jobs and a clean environment. It's time to elect a leader who will fight for the opportunity, security and freedom of the working families of south-central Wisconsin. It's time to have someone represent our values:
EDUCATION: Maintain Wisconsin's commitment to funding community schools. Every
child should have the opportunities afforded by a good education.
JOBS: Protect family farms and bring more good-paying jobs to Wisconsin.
Everyone who works hard and plays by the rules deserves the security of a job.
HEALTH CARE: It's past time for an honest answer to this important problem.
Wisconsin can't wait for the health care crisis to be solved by the Federal
Government. Working families deserve freedom from crippling debt brought on by
medical expenses.
ENVIRONMENT: Protect the state's Environmental Stewardship Fund, which saves
the state's pristine natural resources by purchasing land to protect for future
generations. We also need to pass the Great Lakes Compact, which would protect
our most precious natural resource from being siphoned off by other
states.
